This is the week that the rubber hits the road, as we're sending the fall issue of D Moms off to the printer on Friday. That means the weekend was a whirlwind of prep and writing and two rather epic shoots. I'm so excited about how things are shaping up -- I can't wait to share the end product with you guys.
In between the flurry of cameras and shoes and pillows (you'll see), I teamed up with the lovely Jacinda Boneau and Anna Caplan to co-host the Splendid + ban.do store opening party on Saturday at NorthPark. So. Much. Fun. friends. Those Splendid peeps are the best. Full stop. So honored that they included me in the afternoon of shopping/chatting/eating/photo snapping/general merry making.
And then there was the matter of the weather...or specifically the fact that in the middle of July in Texas we were treated to a full Sunday of rainy, cloudy, cool (well below 90) goodness. And, wait for it, the high today is going to be 79 degrees! I'm not quite sure what's going down here, but I'm rolling with it. Total and complete bliss!
