Presents...

In lieu of several small gifts, Bryan and I decided to buy a piece of art for each other for Christmas. We ended up getting Michelle's gorgeous painting, Wise Math (after spotting it on Chelsea's blog), and I have to say, it's even more stunning in person.

Bryan is working on a frame for it now. I'll share a photo once we have it hung!

i love the idea of getting one or two prized treats or experiences as gifts instead of just lots of stuff! that's why my boyf and i always take a mini vacation around the time of our birthdays, which are only 2 wks apart.

How lovely. I adore this idea too. So much more memorable than a sweater!

OH, so it was you who stole it from me! ;) After I saw it on Chelsea's blog, I clicked through to see it, and by then it was gone.

Lucky lady. I look forward to seeing it in its new home. xo

Beautiful! It almost looks like an extreme close-up of Monet's waterlilies
