Thanks to Gwyneth

You’re not getting another “recycled” post today…

Yes I get that Goop newsletter. I can’t help it, I’m a Gwynnie fan -- I am... And apparently she’s also a fan of the uniform. In this case, her uniform essentially consists of a series of pretty killer LBDs accented with equally killer accessories to switch things up.

I like that strategy + check out that necklace above... ;-)

I'm interested in what she'll do with Goop. I enjoy her series with Mario, and am curious about her shift to more lifestyle oriented endeavors.

I also signed up for the newsletter. :)

Totally thought of you when I got this in my inbox today since we share the love of the uniform! Love that you posted it!

PS: I would love more LBDs that aren't mid-thigh for the tall ladies. Sigh.

betsy...the midthigh dress craze is exactly why my uniform is "dress over jeans" ;-)

Superb! I've recently rediscovered my admiration for Gwyneth, given her apparent rediscovery of her true self. I try not to be much of a wannabe but I would LOVE to be Gwyneth for a short while.
Thank you for sharing the scoop on goop. Where did you hear about it?

I love the outfits that she's put together (or rather that her stylist has put together? what are our thoughts on this? does she have one or not?). But at the same time I feel irritated and intimidated by the actual items she features. I'd love to be able to put together a 'uniform' that consists of $900 shoes too, but alas.

So I guess I give her points for trying, but marks off for execution...

I love how she has been looking recently ie fabulous. I like that long cardigan and belt. I just bought my first pair of skinny jeans today. I want to acquire a long cardigan and high heels to try and redress the balance (my hips are a bit of an impediment to the skinny jeans look.)

okay jos- I'm a GOOP fan too. Also wondering where it's going. But fun to get. She is a pretty rad chick and love these styles. Right on girl for crawling out of your hole!

Yeah, I can't help liking the newsletter either. The first uniform batch was my favorite. Seems she really loves the black, gray and ivory combo with small bits of color - not a bad way to go!

I like the look of all the wardrobes as they look very practical but chic.

It reminds me about something someone once said about Audrey Hepburn when she was just a struggling dancer, I'm just going to paraphrase since I can't recall the exact quote -- "She had one dress but a multitude of scarves, and oh, but the different looks she would create with those scarves!"

I too am getting the emails, and I like them because though I'm sure she doesn't pen them herself, they really do sound like they are coming from her. Here's a thought that might blow your mind - I wonder if she reads this blog??? I bet she has!
