Hotdogs and Sunscreen and Sparklers… Oh My

Image via the stunning fortysixth at grace

I have both tomorrow and Friday off work, so we have all sorts of festive Fourth of July "staycation" type activities planned to celebrate Independence Day.

We also have a couple of stretch goals -- Audrey and I are going to pull out the cherry pitter and attempt to make this tart for a cook-out we're hosting, and (here's the big one) I'm going to completely unplug after work tonight (including turning off the blackberry) in an effort to recharge a bit...

Hope you're doing all sorts of fabulous, summery things too!

Joslyn...you CAN"T unplug!!! I mean...what will happen? How can any of us be sure that things will be alright? Oh no!

Isn't it funny how we can feel that way sometimes? GOOD FOR YOU! I'd say unplugging and mailing me that cherry tart sound like fine, fine ideas ;)

Enjoy your holiday and your family time...and your "me" time most of all!
