- Audrey's love of cherries sadly does not in fact translate to a love of cherry tart.
- I really like the smell of Cray-Pas.
- UNO is the perfect antidote to cabin fever on a 100 degree day.
- All activities somehow seem slightly less mundane (i.e. UNO tournaments) when done to a soundtrack of The Talking Heads.
- *The most simple events grilling a good burger, wrestling drippy ice cream, running through the sprinkler and watching fireworks from afar, drastically outweighs overcrowded, manufactured holiday fun... every. single. time.

You are right on with #5. I unplugged for most of the day Sunday and, as with all of my computer-free days, I felt so clear-headed and happy.
I'm glad your few days off were good ones!
Hear, hear! I love the simple things too....easy to forget about them, so thank you for the reminder.
Good for you! I forgot all about Cray-Pas - thanks for the trip down memory lane :)
