Friday Morning Paper -- Gratitude

Image via Shim and Sons

Audrey and I are busy writing the last few thank you notes for Millie’s birthday gifts. The apple didn’t fall far from the tree on that one, as the girl loves to rock a thank you note. Truth be told, it makes me pretty darn proud. (I mean what kind of Southern mother would I be if my daughter’s love for writing thank you notes didn’t make me swell with pride?)

I’m always on the lookout for cards that seem age-appropriate for the girls to send but that aren’t overly-cutesy. While not officially “thank you” notes, these Shim and Sons Alphabet flats are sufficiently whimsical and well-designed.

Yes, I love them. The great thing about a thank-you card is that it doesn't necessarily have to be a thank-you card. It can be any kind of card.
