A Few Random Bits... (On A Monday)

I don't have any scenes from the week-end, as I didn't think you guys would want to see photos of me running a million banal errands and packing for Germany (I'm there now), so instead I have a few bits to kick-off the week.

First up, the lovely Sam posted a home tour of my house over on style/SWOON... There are loads of little detail shots if you want to take a peek.

Next up... Elizabeth Abernathy's v. cool new online craft magazine, Nuno... so many gorgeous nature inspired projects. I'm especially digging the fantastic felt and stone jewelery.

And finally, my friend Christy gave me a little sample bottle of Hermès Jardin en Méditerranée, and I'm totally smitten. I've worn the same scent forever (Yuzu Rogue by 06130), so I'm excited to break out a little...this is definitely going on my wish list.

Ok that's all! Have a great Monday friends.

Have a wonderful week in Germany.
I hope you get a little 'fun time' in the midst of the packed work schedule that you mentioned last week!

*And good luck with the 'anti-spending' too:).

I'm almost embarrassed to admit this, but I had some serious insomnia last night after ogling your amazing home. I couldn't stop ruminating.
Really Joslyn, it is something extra special and you are incredibly talented at creating amazing stop-em-in-their-tracks moments of lovely.

Thank you for sharing you family's beautiful space.

OK, this is what I love about your house: It's beautifully accessorized without looking "accessorized". Most people's accessories wind up looking like they were swiped from a model home. Your house is so charming and so consistent and so full of character. It is so YOU.

Oh, I usually like Hermes's fragrances, but UJEM is not one of my favorites. :-) Enjoy your stay in Germany.

Wünsche Dir schöne Ferien in Deutschland (oder vielleicht doch keine Ferien). :))

Love the color pops of yellow and green in the photos.

And gosh, after years of fidelity to another fragrance (Amarige de Givenchy), I too just discoved that same Hermes scent and it is sure is tempting. It's a tad expensive, though, so I find myself tiptoeing over to Sephora and requesting little sample fills to help me till I have more moolah. Anyway, neat to hear I've got company in loving it...
