Scenes from The Weekend...

Millie digging my new shoes so much it inspired her to do a little dance...

a sneak peek of this week's "outfit" featuring the shoes...

As weekends go, this was an awfully good one...

We kicked things off with "date night" on Friday (something we haven't done in a while, sadly) and enjoyed an incredibly good meal at Nonna (which if you're in Dallas, I would highly recommend...) and ended the weekend with the reinstatement of Sunday dinner (again something that seemed to take a bit of an involuntary hiatus) with lovely cousin Erin, boyfriend Ben + Bryan's cousin Hannah (also quite lovely, I might add.)

In between there was our little friend Charley's pirate themed 3rd birthday party, a few minor house projects, a sleepover and, well...a little shopping. I stopped by the last day of the amazingly good warehouse sale at 4510 and left with two pairs of utterly fantastic shoes, both cheaper than an average pair at Nine West.

Friends, I love the shoes so much that I actually set them out in my room so I could ogle them throughout the weekend. They're that good.

Hope you had a lovely weekend!

I have to say, I've come back to your blog 3x today just to drool over those shoes; I would have left them out all weekend too!

Love the shoes -- and the purple walls in the top photo. What color are they? Thinking of painting my bedroom a similar color, though maybe not as dark.

Very fine shoes from 4510.

Nonna is one of our favorite places in Dallas. They do it right there. It is our little neighborhood restaurant.

I love those shoes, too! They're very architectural, so hey. They totally can decorate a room. I'd leave them out, too.
