Loving...

This giant tray of cupcakes... The totally genius swiss miss does this every year for her daughter's birthday. Especially loving all the different frosting...fantastic, no? (via a cup of jo)

The insanely glam Kelly Wearstler in the New York Times (via L.A. in Bloom)... Anytime I want to be more daring, I think "WWKD" and attempt to conjure up my inner-Kelly. That tactic has resulted in painting a wall in my house bright green and buying several rather large (and somewhat nutty) necklaces. It works friends.

The adorable sprinkle-adorned cake gracing the cover of Frankie's new recipe book, Sweet Treats. I think the girlies and I need to whip up that cutie this weekend.

The utterly fantastic Sunja Link...I am completely smitten with their women's and children's clothing, particularly that fantastic top with the buttons up the back...

Jordan's awesome vellum mobiles for Project Wedding. I want to recreate this for an end-of-the-year party we're throwing...maybe in different shades of yellow and orange to ring in summer, yes?

Casey O' Connell's incredibly lovely artwork. The above is entitled "Just a Thrift Store Cowboy"...love it.

Patka's sweet barrettes...I have such a hard time finding cool hair things for the girlies. I'm totally digging these!

I've been obsessing over the vellum mobiles for the past couple of days. Love the rainbow pattern. I did Emerson's 2nd birthday completely in shades of orange and yellow a few weeks ago. It made for a very happy vibe all day. We kept the felt garland up for the entire week because it felt so festive.

Ok, you have totally inspired me to put a few sprinkles (baby steps) on the cupcakes I'm making for a cake walk on Friday. Last year I made an ugly cake and it was the very last one on the table. (Winners pick their cakes.)

That Kelly, is she not perfect? Sheesh. In the name of shamless self promotion, if you like the look of those felt clips, which are adorable!, I also sell some with a similar (non frilly and gigantic) look:)
My etsy shop is closed for a bit, but will be back open in a month or so and I'd love to make some for you!
You can still check some of them out in my "sold orders' column....

Those vellum mobiles are great. They would be pretty in a nursery, too. I may be having a WWKD moment soon, as I'm still longing for an Etten Eller necklace, which I found via another necklace you posted not long ago!
