Scenes from The Week-End

So much good stuff...

Donned a new dress (more on that Thursday), had brunch at a yummy "new to us" organic/local restaurant, whooped it up at Little Bean's opening party, sipping champagne (me) and apple juice (the girlies) + the girls had a blast playing in the back of the shop with their two new buddies, Miette and Amelie.

Then later that evening we made a fun collaborative birthday dinner for my friend Achlee -- the highlight was a stunningly good chocolate cake topped with raspberries made by my lovely and talented friend Julie.

And Sunday, well Sunday we rested! What was the best part of your weekend?

Best part: waking up in the eternal sunshine. It's so beautiful here right now! We got to enjoy SO MUCH sun this weekend. In the garden, running, lounging, lunching...

A grand weekend indeed! Love the dress...can't wait to hear more on this Thursday buy. And the girls, my goodness they are so cute! The Obama pillow is divine! Love the little girl's name Miette - that's my daughter's middle name!

I was so busy this weekend! A mani/pedi appointment friday (which was much needed since my feet have been so sore and swollen lately!), I had a baby shower brunch on saturday with all my girlfriends which was perfect, and Sunday we spent tinkering around the house and getting our nursery ready. It was a great weekend. ;)
