What We Did on Our Adventure in Minnesota

hydrangeas in front of the Como Town entrance
  • Ate a lot of pie (apple and peach pie, rhubarb and raspberry and butterfinger to be exact…)

  • Took a spin on a carousel from 1914

  • Witnessed our little friend Sadie try cotton candy for the first time

  • Drove a tractor

  • Rode loads of rides at Como Town

  • Did the polka at a county fair (well technically Audrey and Bryan attempted to do the polka…)

  • Rented a surrey and cruised around Minnehaha Falls

Suffice to say a good time was had by all, and I’m happy to report that travel was incredibly smooth.

p.s. for me, the high point was definitely all that pie…

Ah, a girl after my own heart, which is actually a small pie, it has to be by now, pie is a pretty good reason to live, as far as I am concerned.

Well, the carousel maybe...other rides and I'd be enjoying my pie twice...know what I'm sayin', Joslyn?
And honestly, I'd rather sit still on my behind and have a second piece. I bet my pants would wish for different!

I find that pie is the high point in almost any situation in which it appears.

i must say that i am extremely jealous of your recent adventures in pie eating! a good ol' peach pie is sounding wounderous right now...
