High Point – The white bean chicken chili was incredibly yummy. (I can say this without being a braggart, as aside from selecting the recipe, Bryan did all the actual work – I’m realizing this has become a mini-theme in the past couple of posts...sad.) He tweaked the recipe a bit to add more flavor, specifically reversing the amounts of half and half and chicken broth and amping up the spices a bit.
Overall it was a major crowd pleaser, which is good, as I was pretty nervous going in based on what we now commonly refer to as the “Great White Bean Chicken Chili Incident of 2002”, when we made a massive pot, only to realize as we were spooning it up to 20 guests that the chili powder was rancid. Thank goodness for the deli at Central Market.
Low Point -- I have A LOT of Sprinkles cupcakes leftover, and I can’t stop eating them. It’s a bad scene over here people. I’m going to need a Sprinkles intervention shortly. They’re pretty darn amazing.
And yes, sweet Millie did seem to have an awful lot of fun.

thanks amber...the sweater's from banana and currently on sale. my husband thinks it makes me look like an extra from the Ice Storm, but i think that's what i like about it...
