Go Fish, S’mores and Hearts

My friend Achlee makes fun of the fact that I like hearts. I have to admit it is a bit out of character, but I can’t help it…I like what I like.

So one of the highlights of our little family getaway was finding a perfect heart shaped rock when I was walking back to our room with Audrey one evening. Other highlights included: making s’mores around a big fire pit, playing Go Fish five times in a row on an unexpectedly rainy afternoon, eating a huge stack of pancakes in bed with Audrey and just generally having time to be completely focused on the kids and Bryan without all the little distractions of everyday life to interrupt.
