Scenes From The Weekend...

Come August, when I'm griping (non-stop) about the triple digit temps, I need one of you to remind me of those blissful days back in February(!) when it was 65 degrees and sunny and clear and, well, completely and utterly perfect outside. I need you to say, hey Gripey McGriperson, remember how your kids were running around at Klyde Warren Park in tank tops, playing with the bubble machine and noshing cupcakes...in February???

Deal?

Aside from frolicking in the park in decidedly unseasonal attire, the weekend was a melange of art making at Oil and Cotton, art making at home in the form of a little Valentine's Day project for D Moms and a school project for the girlies (suffice to say there was a lot of art making), the beginning of Audrey's movie education (we kicked things off with Ferris Bueller's Day Off), and dinner with Lucia and Pete and crew. Said dinner, I should note, happened during a two person sleep over that Audrey was hosting, at one point, with my girls, L & P's trio and Audrey's guests, I realized that we had seven children tearing through our house. And yet, the tearing was a surprisingly mellow enterprise. It was downright civil even...Gotta love it when that happens.

Hope your weekend was splendid!

Your weekend looked arty and magical! Mine was too cold! But Richmond park was beautiful!

Love seeing the shots of O+C! I showed my girl the last shot and she pointed out which "treasure" (cigar) box she thinks is hers to finish this week at class. So cute.
