Artist Cybèle Finely in the latest
Covet Garden -- her home, her workspace, her family
and what she bought on her recent trip to Paris. I love how Covet Garden goes "all-in" on a subject...it's thoughtful and sort of quiet, a nice respite from the frenetic feel of most publications.

Lisa Golightly's watercolors... I've long loved her
other paintings but am especially enamoured with the pieces in her series"
the floodline".

Odette's magical
open studio party ... just so many perfect little details, but it's those sweet flower crowns (made by
Nicolette) that I can't get out of my head. I need to figure out a way to work these out for Millie's upcoming
woodland fairy b-day party.

Check out Lauren Conrad's website tutorial for flower crowns! :)
emily!
that tutorial is fantastic. i'm going to use that to make crowns for the girlies at the party. thank you!
Joslyn, I have quietly devoured your blog for a couple of years now but I had to post on your planning your daughter's woodland fairy birthday party...I just hosted my daughter's 7th birthday in a woodland fairy theme and ordered her an heirloom worthy dress for the occasion from tutudumonde (an aubergine tulle heavenly number) out of Australia....not a thrifty purchase by any means but I justified the price tag in celebration of this all too quickly closing window of pure magic in Isabel's world. I also bought the feathered headdress. We celebrated with friends under the spanish-moss heavy oaks at Magnolia Gardens here in Charleston, SC...Pretty dreamy. Have fun planning and happy holidays!
