Loving...

This image from a 1973 issue of Art in America (found via Onyx Earth ). There's just something immensely heartening about seeing a photograph that looks just as relevant today as it did almost 40 years ago!

This lovely lady via Jeana...Really the whole image is sort of romantic and cosmopolitan -- like a great film still. + she looks an awful lot like Sofia Coppola, don't you think?

Ginny Marsh's beautiful ceramics (via Lucia). I'm excited to make a visit to her studio to see her work in person...

Sculptural, purposeful metal canisters via Mr. Kitly...

The sort of pumpkin orange and the simple, geometric print in this fabric. Oh and the light too. The whole thing is just really lovely. (Photo by Sander van den Bosch via Anthology.)

Photos of miniature ballerinas (image from the Library of Congress via Snippet and Ink)... In fact I might be a wee bit obsessed with photos of miniature ballerinas. Just sayin'. And speaking of ballerinas, Audrey made it into the Nutcracker. She's v. excited! Now I just have to start dragging myself back to my adult beginner ballet class on Saturday mornings. I've been a major ballet slacker for the past couple of months ;-(

My lovely, brilliant, ridiculously creative and talented friend (and soul sister) Achlee's new blog + etsy shop. (More on just how brilliant and creative and talented she actually is to come...stay tuned.)

This necklace from Madewell... It's all sorts of chunky awesomeness, yes? (And it's on sale.)

Arnold Goron's "Molecular Structure" sculptures for Isabel Marant's shops. Just so fantastically cool + unique. I'd love to make some art with the girlies based on these...

Love the little ballerinas. How fun that she got into the nutcracker! I loved doing that as a kid. I've recently gone back to my ballet classes after almost 3 months off, and it's pretty hard going. But the first few days back are the worst, and then it starts being ridiculously fun again. So go for it!
