Blogger's Favorites -- Kirsten of Simply Grove

I’m awfully fond of Kirsten Grove.

For one she’s incredibly nice, and “nice” is always at the tippy top of my list of admirable attributes… I’m fond of nice people.

But Kirsten goes beyond nice. She’s also warm + creative + interesting + funny + lovely (actually, after meeting her at Alt, I can report that she’s not just lovely, she’s gorgeous and supermodel tall.)

So there’s all that too.

There’s also her blog Simply Grove and her stunning home. She can work white like no other (see evidence in those bookshelves below…)

So without further ado, let’s take a peek at her list.

Herewith Kirsten’s favorites. Enjoy and have a splendid weekend!

Interior Styling- Styling a room for me is like giving a child ice cream. It is such a treat and I could do it everyday, all day! This flickr group has been a fun source for styling.

Jackson Hole Wyoming- I lived in Jackson when I was a toddler and have been back for almost every summer since. I love the history of the town. The shopping has evolved and the dining is fantastic! The Tetons alone make the trip worth it.

Moments- Sometimes its the little moments that make the most memories! I love making little memories with my hubby.

White Chocolate- I constantly get made fun of for my love for white chocolate. I know its a kiddish candy but I still adore it!

Adoption- My heart for adoption increases everyday. Both of my children are adopted. They are the most amazing miracles in my life.

Chairs- My interior addiction! I LOVE chairs. All design periods, shapes, colors, textures. I could fill a whole home up with just chairs. The fulton lounge chair is my current favorite.

  • Dresses- There is something so beautiful about wearing a dress. Even paired with flats, dresses are feminine and chic.
  • Statement Pieces- When I dress I try to incorporate one statement piece in my outfit. I would so pair this necklace with a simple black shirt, skinny jeans and oxford shoes.
  • Iced Chai's- My all the time drink!
  • Burt's Bees- It is currently all I can apply on my lips. I recently got an allergic reaction towards an expired lip gloss (Word to the wise. Check the expiration dates on your makeup products!) so I am constantly putting on Burt's Bees Radiance Lip Shimmer.

beautiful favorites! thank you for sharing this blogger, joslyn:)

i love that you have adopted! i have a tremendous heart for adoption but my husband doesn't seem crazy about the idea. i would never want to push him to do something he doesn't want so i just pray that his heart is one day moved like mine.
