Simple Lovely Holiday Gift Guide Part 2

Herewith some of my favorite gift picks for your sister, mother, best friend… or even yourself (is it bad to admit that I want every single one of these things?)

My favorite kiddo gifts are things that spark imagination and can be passed down -- a little something magical, whimsical and lovely…

  • Groovy toadstool lamp...
  • Japanese masking tape to instantly pretty-up anything… (my “completely mad-for-tape” Audrey is getting a few rolls of this in her stocking for sure!)
  • Lauren Child’s illustrated Pippi Longstocking -- one of our favorites stories + our very favorite illustrator = a perfect book…
  • Baby Bean’s vintage bunting -- each one is handmade and totally unique + every kid’s room needs some bunting, no?

p.s. -- voting for the Dwell Studio Modern Thanksgiving contest ends tonight at midnight...

I would be eternally grateful if you'd consider popping over there and voting for my table by leaving a comment on the post.

Thanks friends!

love your finds! I also have that camera on my wishlist — hoping Santa decides to throw it down my chimney since we're doing more handmade/small gifts this year.

bummer i had to look at this list and now the fuji instax camera had to jump on over to my list as well... hope my family doesn't mind a last minute request...
as for the kids' stuff - so fabulous. lauren child's pippi longstocking is hands-down the favorite book in our house. bunting is always wonderful. every kid needs some. and tape is my sweet little lucy's absolute fave. she is getting a whole box from this ridiculously fantastic company...

I love checking out your blog and your lovely finds.
I am definitely going to look for Pippi Longstocking for my 6 year old.

Have you ever read any children's books by author/illustrater Melanie Watt?
I highly recommend the Scaredy Squirrel books, Augustine (the art work is charming), and Chester. Amusing for children and adults.
