Three Things...

This completely adorable girl makes me want to get bangs... Thoughts?


I just bought this dress from Gilt*... Clearly I need to start my spending hiatus stat.

Despite the fact that I usually only buy white cloth napkins, I'm seriously swooning over these lovelies from i am dorkas...

    just got that same dress from gilt. and i do agree, it is highly addictive and completely awesome at the same time.

    oh I can not wait to Gilt. Love bangs.... just don't do them yourself ;)... There have been a few occasions where trimming my bangs at midnight seemed like a good idea. bad idea.

    love Gilt. have been trying to be on a spending diet. this may just be the cupcake that breaks it. i'm a dress girlie. love 'em.

    Yes to bangs, but only if you're reliable in the hair cut department. I normally only manage to schedule an appointment every year or two (or sometimes three!) so my bangs experiment was short lived. You have to be in there at least once a month!

    yes! yes! yes! to bangs! I hadn't had bangs since 8th grade and I finally cut them 2 years ago and haven't looked back. I wish I had done it sooner. they make my long hair look super modern and chic and draw more attention to my eyes.

    I so admired this dress too, but I refrained. hope you share it when it comes in, but be sure not to make me regret my none purchase, ha! Oh, and LOVE bangs.

    I have a love hate relationship with bangs. I love them when it's colder weather, but they are too high maintence for me in the summer months.
    Trimming is tricky ONLY CUT WHEN DRY or else you will end up looking like Amelie unless your going for that too short cute look.

    Yes, yes, yes for bangs. I resisted for years. Seriously in the form of strong-arming my very opinionated stylist.

    I finally relented and whoa ... huge difference. I swear I look five years younger, and my hair just looks better. I shudder now when I see photos of myself without bangs. Yuck!

    Mine are whispy and longer, but definitely bangs.

    i always find 'bangs' such a funny word for 'fringe'.

    i love having a fringe, but by the time it gets too long to be a real one, i start thinking about growing it out, so i start to grow it out. And then i get sick of in-between hair and get my fringe cut again.

    It never ends. So be warned if you're thinking of getting 'bangs'.

    Just promise me you will NEVER attempt to trim your own bangs. Believe me...I have and it is always disastrous. I can already hear the "Why are you doing this to me?!" echoing through the house...but yes to bangs! you will look lovely!
