Heading into the Weekend...

cupcakes and party favors all ready to go...

We've got all sort of fun planned for the week-end -- there's not one but two end-of-the-year parties this afternoon for the girlies, friends visiting from out of town, brunch and a bike ride with lovely cousin Erin tomorrow and another pilgrimage to the farmer's market. I'm heavy into my new Alice Waters cookbook and dying to try out a few things.

What are you guys up to this weekend?

  2. mmh... Juts had a chocolate cookie but would like to try one of these now.
I'm staying home and working, but what I have to do is fun, so if the weather stays warm and sunny it'll be a good week-end!

  6. That Alice Waters book is really a classic one to have in your collection. The recipes are simple and well, Alice Waters. Also good is the Chez Panisse Cafe cookbook that has a really excellent green goddess dressing in it. Call me old-fashioned, but green goddess is delicious! This recipe also doesn't use any mayo!
